Caffe Vergnano 1882 espresso pods are compatible with Original Line Nespresso machines. They are cheaper than Original Line Nespresso capsules, but are they worth it? I give a very detailed review, comparison, & demonstration of both pod types. I go over their respective shot sizes, pod construction, crema production, and do a cost comparison. I mention the amount of coffee in each Nespresso capsule and Caffe Vergnano pod. I also discuss the material the pods are made from and the ability to recycle or compost the used pods. It's quite interesting that one makes a 30ml espresso shot and the other 40ml. These espresso pods will work the following Nespresso machines: GRAN LATTISSIMA with the ESSENZA MINI, LATTISSIMA ONE, CREATISTA PLUS, LATTISSIMA PRO, CITIZ, ESSENZA PLUS, PIXIE, and CREATISTA PRO
