U.S. Senator Cynthia Lummis on Bitcoin Regulation and Fighting for Hard Money in Congress

Описание: Cynthia Lummis is a United States Senator from Wyoming. The conservative Republican was sworn in to the Senate in 2021, and is on the Banking Committee, which has oversight over the SEC. She previously served in the House of Representatives from 2009-2016, spent 14 years in the Wyoming House and Senate, and eight years as Wyoming State Treasurer. Cynthia is a three-time graduate of the University of Wyoming in animal science, biology and law. She and New York Democratic Senator Kirsten Gillibrand have introduced the Responsible Financial Innovation Act. The bipartisan legislation aims to create a regulatory framework for the digital asset and blockchain industries.
