BRIEF BIO:
Josette is a truly multidimensional force whose journey defies limits. From dropping out of high school in France to earning a PhD in Interdisciplinary Health Sciences in the United States, Josette has immersed herself in a world of knowledge—exploring neuroplasticity, social justice advocacy, health care and educational reforms, art, modeling, poetry, medical research on demyelinating diseases, and entrepreneurship.
Currently, she is a scholar, writer, and student, passionately working to secure funding for her film and documentary projects—projects she is producing, directing, acting in, and narrating—while unhoused and without a car. She’s also pursuing a certification program to bring her vision to life, with plans to create a revolutionary school system and found a mental health nonprofit that redefines support and resilience.
Living with a relapsing demyelinating disease and navigating multiple mental health conditions, Josette offers a rare perspective on how both mental and physical health shape life, showing that resilience has limits until you redefine the terms and refocus your journey. Undeterred by challenges, she continues to aim for the stars, demonstrating that even in the toughest circumstances, ambition, creativity, faith, and determination can shine.
