Описание: Matthew 27 contains the account of the actual crucifixion of Jesus. He is the spotless lamb of God who was the perfect sacrifice for our sins. Every person on earth has the sin that has been inherited by Adam and passed down through the generations. We are not holy or capable of being in communion with God unless we are washed clean by the blood of our lord and savior Jesus Christ. Only then can we commune with God. Only then will we have eternal security and salvation from the second death. Only then will we be adopted into Jesus’ family as his beloved children.

As you continue to read the book of Matthew, you will find that chapter 28 begins with two women named Mary discovering that the tomb that Jesus was laid in was empty and an angel declares to them that He is risen from the dead and is not there. It is then we read Matthew 28:9–10 “And as they went to tell His disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, “Rejoice!” So they came and held Him by the feet and worshiped Him. Then Jesus said to them, “Do not be afraid. Go and tell My brethren to go to Galilee, and there they will see Me.””

The account picks up in Matthew 28:16–17 “Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, to the mountain which Jesus had appointed for them. When they saw Him, they worshiped Him; but some doubted.”
A lot could be said about these verses, but the important point is that the disciples were obedient to go to the appointed place to see the risen Lord. They believed the witness of the two Marys that Jesus was not in the tomb and that He was risen from the dead. So they went to meet with the Savior of the World whom they knew personally.
