We go over the differences between motorcycle tables and their features on the Handy Sam 1000 and the APlusLift MT1500 with side extensions makes it the X

These look almost identical initially but there are many differences when you look closer.

Only time will tell how the APlusLift holds up but the Handy S.A.M. 1000 has been a great lift for us so far!

UPDATE: This lift sits 7" off the ground with a 24" approach ramp and the Handy model sits 6" off the ground the ground with a 24" approach ramp. I found this model significantly harder to drive zero turn mowers and riding mowers onto on because of the increased angle. I put this one in the back for the other mechanic who does more smaller items and moved the Handy S.A.M. 1000 back to my area for repairs...

After using the lift only up and down a couple times I started noticing it is catching up on the left hand side of the rail because the welding was done with a gap in between the parts instead of flush like it should be. I have contacted APlusLift at this point and the original response was bend the washer or grind the metal down...Will update...

Customer service at APlusLift was good. The welding was done with a gap instead of flush so it did need some grinding down and repair right off the crate. This is aggravating when you pay so much for a lift but things do happen. They did send some replacement paint to cover up the spot I had to grind down. It seems to still be sticking at points...

2nd update: When it is going up it is turning about 10 to 15 degrees, the safety bar does not hang in the right spot to automatically lock in when dropping down the table, it has to be held into place to lock into the top lock spot. Quality control seems to be completely absent on these.

3rd update: After trying the recommended repairs and still having issued we decided to return the lift. APlusLifts was great far as customer service went. Free returns and was not hassled.

We ended up buying a Handy S.A.M 1200 lift. See the video on it for comparison to the Handy SAM 1000 at    • Revolutionary Lift Table? Honest Review of...
