So my first experience with Slander was seeing their set just before Rezz's Headlining Set at Sunset Music Festival 2020 (or 2021?) from the rail. I was pleasantly surprised, and one of them ended up proposing to his girl in the middle of their set. I bought the last Medium in their Original Black Jersey at the Merch booth before the show to mess with my friend so he couldn’t get it. My boy Chris is a die hard Slander fan. But after the set, I couldn’t deny how good they were, and sold it to him as a gesture of good faith.
NGHTMRE, I also saw for the first time from the Rail at Sunset, and thought he was decent. Admittedly, I enjoy him more when he does B2B sets (IE Gigantic NGHTMRE at Ultra 2023 and this.)
