Known as, “Ghost” – this sophisticated 1955 Chevrolet 210 Custom is packing a 6.2-liter V8 engine and rides on an Art Morrison Chassis. As the VIN number indicates this car was built in Oakland, California as a 1955 Chevrolet 210 2-door sedan with a V8 engine. This Tri-Five Chevy was the product of a meticulous rotisserie restoration by BRE Rods and Classics in 2019. The vision of the build was to create a super clean classic car with all the modern conveniences. The car turned out amazing and the simple design makes a bold visual statement. The beautifully designed body is very straight with excellent panel fitment. It was re-finished in a gorgeous shade of white which dresses it well. The high quality paint was recently detailed to a glossy shine. The window trim, front grill, headlight bezels, parking light bezels, door handles, body side moldings and rear tail light bezels were re-finished in matte black. It was outfitted with all new glass that was professionally tinted. Some of the custom exterior features include dual black mirrors, Oracle 7” LED headlights, black tucked front bumper and rear bumper. The car has a killer stance on custom built Lexani LF-270 forged black and brushed clear coated wheels that are 19” on the front and 20” on the rear. The wheels are wrapped with Pirelli P Zero tires that are 245/35ZR19 on the front and 335/30/ZR20 on the rear. The rear wheel wells were mini tubbed to accommodate the larger size wheels and tires. The new black custom interior was designed to be user-friendly. The headliner, sun visors, kicker panels, door panels, quarter panels and center console was wrapped in leather. It was outfitted with modern powered bucket seats with seat belts. The dash was finished and glovebox cover in matte white. The dash center trim and custom lower dash panel with vents was finished in matte black. The entire cabin was covered with insulation and premier black carpeting. Some of the customer interior features include under dash LED lights, Dakota Digital gauges, Vintage Air Conditioning, black Ididit tilt steering column, Billet Specialties 14” black steering wheel, black billet door handles, power windows, dual cup holders, storage compartment, Lokar shifter and Billet Specialties black pedals. The sound system consists of an Alpine head unit with Bluetooth, JL Audio amplifier and 6x9 speakers. The trunk compartment was box and upholstered to match the interior. The engine compartment is highly detailed with many custom parts. The hood pivots on black Billet Specialties aluminum hinges and the backside of the hood has a custom bracket. The firewall was notched, smoothed and finished in matte white. The custom built inner fenders were also finished in matte white. The custom built radiator support was finished in matte black. The car is powered by a GM Performance 6.2-liter LS3 crate engine that runs excellent. The engine was outfitted with a custom serpentine drive belt system, Vibrant Performance air intake and black engine cover. The engine is cooled by a black PRE aluminum radiator with dual SPAL electric fans and custom overfill canister. The engine breathes through ceramic coated headers and 3” polished stainless dual exhaust system with Borla Pro XS mufflers. It’s equipped with a power rack and pinion steering system. The engine is coupled to a GM Performance 4L70 4-speed transmission. The power is transferred to the Ford 9” rear end with 3.73 gears. The undercarriage is highly detailed with many custom parts including a stainless fuel tank. The floors were rhino lined in black for durability. The car rides on a black powder coated Art Morrison chassis with independent front suspension and 4-link rear suspension. It’s equipped with a Baer four wheel disc braking system with Baer master cylinder, 13” drilled and slotted rotors with red calipers.
