Trip sehari ke Songkhla memang berbaloi bila dapat mandi di Ton Nga Chang Waterfall sambil dikelilingi ikan kelah yang jinak — pengalaman unik dan menenangkan. Lepas tu, kami singgah di Songkhla Old Town yang penuh dengan street art berwarna-warni dan bangunan klasik bergaya Sino-Portuguese, memang port OOTD yang trending. Lunch pula di Khong Hae Halal Seafood Buffet, port wajib kalau ke Hatyai, puas hati makan pla pao (ikan bakar Thai) dan seafood segar yang murah meriah. Malam terakhir kami habiskan masa lepak di Lee Gardens Plaza, sebelum esoknya breakfast di Khaled Restaurant dan shopping last minute di Downtown Studio, kedai 20 Baht viral yang penuh dengan barang menarik. Akhir sekali, kami naik tren Mysawasdee dari Hatyai Junction balik ke KL Sentral. Memang pengalaman lengkap: nature, street art, makanan halal sedap, shopping murah dan travel mudah dengan tren!

A day trip to Songkhla was absolutely worth it, starting with a refreshing swim at Ton Nga Chang Waterfall surrounded by friendly mahseer fish — such a unique and calming experience. We then stopped by Songkhla Old Town, famous for its colorful street art and old Sino-Portuguese shophouses, a trending OOTD spot. Lunch was at Khong Hae Halal Seafood Buffet, a must-visit in Hat Yai, where we feasted on pla pao (Thai grilled fish) and fresh, affordable seafood. On our last night, we chilled at Lee Gardens Plaza, before having breakfast at Khaled Restaurant and doing some last-minute shopping at Downtown Studio — the viral 20 Baht store filled with cool finds. Finally, we boarded the Mysawasdee train from Hat Yai Junction back to KL Sentral. This trip was the perfect combo of nature, street art, halal food, cheap shopping, and the convenience of train travel!

Our 3D2N Hat Yai trip via the Mysawasdee train from KL Sentral was such a unique and trending experience among Malaysians. We checked in at Pacific Residence, a budget hotel near Hat Yai train station that’s super convenient. First stop was lunch at the famous Kaitod Decha, then shopping at Central Hat Yai and Lee Gardens Plaza, plus grabbing local snacks and nuts at Kim Yong Market. Dinner was at Hamid Restaurant followed by a relaxing body massage at Michael Massage, a favorite spot for many travelers. On day two, we took a day trip to Songkhla — swimming with mahseer fish at Ton Nga Chang Waterfall, exploring the colorful Songkhla Old Town, and enjoying a cheap and tasty lunch at Khlong Hae Halal Seafood Buffet. On the last day, we had breakfast at Khaled Restaurant and did some last-minute shopping at the 20 Baht store in Downtown Studio.
