Let's real talk:

There are many perks of working from home, but with most things, there is a flip side…

….and that is feeling I S O L A T E D.

Isolation can lead to fatigue and burnout because you don’t feel the impact you are making through your work.

It’s especially nerve-wracking to not know where you stand in your career when there are overall less interactions with those who can help lift you up.

This next part is going to be all cheese, but what really made working in-person WORTH IT was being able to build camaraderie with my colleagues.

Having those in-person micro-conversations helped establish a sense of trust and belonging in an otherwise stressful environment.

My new Corporate Office Series is a homage to my past experience working in the Big 4/consulting firms. Work was tough back then, but having amazing people to work with really made those hard days better.
