Ahead of concerns raised on revenue buyoancy the 45th GST meeting being chaired by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is underway in Uttar Pradesh's capital city Lucknow. After the 45th GST Council meets in Lucknow on Friday, the much-debated and speculated-about matter could finally be addressed. For the first time in 20 months, the GST council is being conducted in a face-to-face meet. After December 18, 2019, all the GST Council meetings were done in virtual mode as a precautionary measure for Covid-19 in the country.
