Ukrainian mayor drives MP through destroyed city of Chernihiv

Chernihiv is without water, gas or electricity after sustained bombardment by artillery and Russian jets. More than 400 civilians have been killed in Russian attacks on the city.

Atroshenko has appealed to Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskiy for captured Russian pilots to be imprisoned rather than swapped for Ukrainian prisoners of war.
