Описание:
In the Hall of the Mountain King by Edvard Grieg. This piece was composed in 1875 as part of the incidental music for Henrik Ibsen’s play Peer Gynt, a dramatic fantasy based on Norwegian folklore. The music depicts the scene where the protagonist Peer Gynt enters the underground realm of the trolls, the Mountain King’s hall, and tries to escape from them. The piece starts with a low and quiet melody that gradually builds up in speed and volume, creating a sense of tension and excitement. The music reaches a climax when the trolls chase Peer Gynt and try to kill him. The piece ends with a loud and abrupt chord that signifies Peer Gynt’s escape.
