Newquay Tretherras commemorated the 11th hour by playing 'Sunset' by the Royal Marines Band from the rooftop of the Quay building.
Cadets, along with Scouts and Adventure Leaders were present in full uniform and accompanied by the school’s Headteacher Mrs Fairbairn and Deputy Headteachers.
Students and staff across the school marked the moment by standing in perfect silence.
