Uganda’s Ambassador to Germany says the country’s export and trade potential in the European Union remains largely untapped, and that stronger links with German investors could help Uganda scale up agro-processing, value addition, and industrial production aimed at the European market. Speaking in an exclusive interview with NTV Business on the sidelines of the ITB Expo in Berlin, Ambassador Stephen Mubiru revealed that at least a dozen major European investors have already expressed interest in establishing businesses in Uganda, a move expected to deepen trade ties and expand market access for Ugandan products in Europe.
