My crew and I took a day trip to Slab City to do a tech/location scout for our upcoming shoot of my short film The Slabs. We had an amazing time lead by our inimitable local producer/fixer Bo. He showed us parts of the hobo camp I hadn't seen and I discovered where I want to be buried. Check out the sights and sounds of the desert in this tour of The Last Free Place. We're so excited to shoot my short film there in just a few weeks. "The Slabs" focuses on the futility of freedom, the fight for family, and the war that rages inside each of us.
