Here, Potato lands the Huey in a few combat scenarios. Staying lower than the tips of the trees, how do you slow down, hover, land, and take off, efficiently. Here you can see some examples of Landing Zones that are established and not established. Notice that I don't overshoot the landing pads. Sometimes, I stop too early even. Techniques like these are difficult to learn, but you can master them with practice and time. Ask us any questions you may have if you suck at landing helicopters in DCS!
