In this lecture, we explain the Modes of Communication used in data communication systems, namely Simplex, Half Duplex, and Full Duplex.
🔹 Simplex Mode
➡️ One-way communication only
➡️ Data flows in a single direction
➡️ Example: Keyboard to Computer, TV Broadcast
🔹 Half Duplex Mode
➡️ Two-way communication but not at the same time
➡️ Sender and receiver take turns
➡️ Example: Walkie-Talkie
🔹 Full Duplex Mode
➡️ Two-way communication at the same time
➡️ Data flows simultaneously in both directions
➡️ Example: Telephone, Mobile Communication
