Balram Gautam from Kalimati, Nepal talks about his difficult life working in the Middle East for eight years.
Harsh conditions, long hours, low pay and difficult work. The workers have no rights, their passport confiscated on arrival. Due to his low salary he returned to Nepal without being able to save any money and support his family.
His story is typical of Nepali citizens who have little option but to take work in the Middle East.
There is little employment in Nepal but Baburam does not want to ever return.
Baburam has now started working in Kalimati milk farming helped set up by the Marigold Chain charity.
