This week we are exploring the Dampier Peninsula, gateway to the Kimberly Coast, one of the last pristine marine wilderness frontiers in the world.

We escape the van and spend an incredible 4 nights at Cygnet Bay Pearl Farm indulging ourselves in a number of Farm Tours including a sea safari to explore the Kimberley Coast, Buccaneer Archipelago and the world’s only ocean waterfall reef.

We learn all about the history of the Brown Family, pioneers of Australia’s early pearling and the modern technologies that are revolutionising the industry.

And we enjoy a fascinating cultural tour to learn all about the indigenous history of the region, and gain an intimate insight into the cultural practices or riji carving and peoples who have called this area home for over 60,000 years.
