Wheel Horse tractors are still a very popular tractor brand despite being bought out by Toro and new models not produced in decades. The C160 is a popular model among collectors. It is powered by a 16 hp Kohler K Series engine. These mowers use a hydrostatic transmission that make them easier to use than the standard gear drive models. There were many different attachments available for Wheel Horse tractors through the decades. Many of them were interchangeable from one model to another and one generation to another. The loader attachment like the one on this C160 is one of the rarer attachments to find because there were not many people purchased them. As years went by a few aftermarket companies started to make loader attachments for Wheel Horse tractors and some people started to fabricate their own. The lift capacity is usually just a few hundred pounds on loaders for these tractors, but they are very handy to move dirt, mulch and objects too heavy to carry. And because they're smaller than compact tractors they fit in more places.
