In this video I reveal the finished result of my Eric Johnson Virginia Stratocaster guitar build along with a no talking sound demo.
My partscaster build is finally complete and I'm ecstatic about how the guitar sounds and plays - I can't put it down! The sassafras guitar body definitely contributes to the unique voice of the guitar as do many of the other subtle spec choices. Check out the sound demo to hear all pickup combinations as well as clean and dirty guitar tones (I'm amazed at how useable all 5 pickup settings are!).
The Warmoth roasted maple neck is a thing of beauty in and of itself and one of the specs I chose that's different from the Fender Eric Johnson Virginia model. I'm really happy I did and will go into more detail about that and other specs in part 3 of this series.
