A complete modern fullback with a well-rounded skill set. Zohouri combines very good pace with a strong passing game and is heavily involved in build-up play. Technically accomplished and confident on the ball, he offers good dribbling ability and delivers precise, well-weighted crosses with his right foot.
Despite standing just 176 cm, his aerial ability is surprisingly strong, both in timing and competitiveness. Unlike many attack-minded fullbacks, Zohouri is also reliable defensively — strong in 1v1 situations and disciplined in his positioning. While capable of filling in as a centre-back when required, right-back is clearly his natural role.
Career context & transfer outlook:

Zohouri’s career path has been unconventional. He earned a move to OGC Nice in 2020 after impressing with RC Abidjan, but opportunities never materialised, leading to loan spells and a subsequent move to Lausanne in Switzerland. A back injury disrupted much of his 2021 season, though he featured more regularly toward the latter part of 2022.
Seeking a clearer pathway, he joined FC Sheriff Tiraspol on a free transfer, where he performed well and gained valuable experience in both the Europa League and Conference League. His move to Georgian top-flight side Iberia 1999 in the summer of 2025 initially raised eyebrows, but it has proven far from a step backward.
Zohouri’s resurgence did not go unnoticed. In October 2025, he made his senior debut for Ivory Coast against Seychelles, and by December he was named in the national squad for the 2025 AFCON. Should he earn minutes at the tournament, a significant transfer could soon follow.
A late bloomer perhaps — but very much a fullback on the rise.
