How to: Let’s Identify & Fix That Leaking Harley Primary⚡️Including Tools Needed

Does your Harley Davidson leave spots on the ground? Do you have dampness on the underside of your primary? Allow me to show you how I not only identify where it is coming from but also how I fixed that pesky leak. In today's video I will show you step by step how I identified where the oil was coming from and how I fixed it on the primary side. In this video I will be replacing all the seals and gaskets related to the primary chain case on a 2023 Harley Davidson Touring model. This systematic approach to diagnosing and repair of the primary chain case is going to be very similar for most all touring models in stock configuration dating all the way back to 2008. Tho some component's have changed or been updated i.e. compensator assembly, primary chain tensioner, and clutch. The process and or gaskets and seals to be aware of will be similar or the same. Included in this video will be the tools used, a call out of socket size's, specialty tools and anything else needed or required for removal of the primary drive system on an M8 Touring model Harley Davidson. As stated in the video many times, always refer to the most current factory service manual for any updates or corrections applicable to the model and year of your Harley Davidson Touring model motorcycle if you are choosing to do this at home for yourself.
