Sword and Shield were instant favorites of mine; the region, the music, the new Pokémon, I loved all of it... except the "conflict" and post-game characters. There's no forgiving those hairstyles.
That said, what I also really enjoyed was the MEMES. Gloria being a foul-mouthed Scot was amazing. Combine that with the hype gym battle music and you get something very inspiring. Electric bagpipes, the crowd, the moment by moment changing intensity as a battle progresses, I tried to incorporate all of that in this loveletter to Gloria.
