The Importance of Trial Advocacy (Become a trial lawyer ASAP!)

Описание: Getting trial advocacy skills can change your life. I know this from my own personal experiences!

Prior to law school, I had no idea on how to become a trial lawyer. In fact, I didn't even know if I had the characteristics, traits, or skills to even step foot in the courtroom.

And then I did my first trial advocacy competition (it was a negotiations competition). I absolutely loved it!

Next thing I know, I'm doing every mock trial competition and moot court competition possible. They were a blast!

But don't get me wrong -- I was not a natural. It took a TON of practice for me to go from using mock trial scripts to speaking off-the-cuff.

These litigation skills allowed for me to try (and win!) my first criminal jury trial while I was still a law student and interning as a prosecutor.

Fast forward to today and I've handled criminal law cases, family law cases, civil law cases, and class action cases.

So it's safe to say that I've received a TON of experience in a very short amount of time.
