Professor William Hwang is a renowned haemato-oncologist. He is a Senior Consultant hematologist at both Singapore General Hospital (SGH) and the National Cancer Centre Singapore (NCCS), where he continues his clinical practice alongside his role as Senior Advisor to SingHealth. A pioneer in hematopoietic stem cell transplantation and cell therapy, he also co-directs the Regenerative Medicine Institute of Singapore (REMEDIS) and has previously served as the CEO of NCCS and President of the World Marrow Donor Association.
