Описание: Well Pam Amber and I decided to head to Marks Cottage (bothy) one of the 4 in Loch Lomond & Trossachs National park for an overnight getaway and a spot of Mackerel Fishing on the shores of Loch Long - had a fantastic overnight stay and this bothy is highly recommended and fairly quiet.

The (Bothy) is situated on the Ardgartan Peninsula on the shores of Loch Long. Normal access is by forest track from the A83 Arrochar to Inverary Road near the bottom of the East Side of The Rest And Be Thankful (Arrochar Side) at Forest Enterprise Information Centre NN 269 037 (no overnight car parking here except for campers or motorhomes with their own facilities) to a car park at Coilessan Glen NN 258 012 (overnight parking is allowed here and knocks about 1.5 miles of the 6 mile walk) where there is a locked gate (or can be locked at any time) and vehicle access prohibited. Foot or cycle access only is permitted from this point to the bothy.

The Walk is around 5 miles and easy Forest Path.
