INGREDIENTS:
DOUGH:
6 eggs
Greek yoghurt (1 1/2 cup)
Sugar (1 1/2 cup)
Milk (1 1/2 cup)
Butter (1 1/2 cup)
Yeast (5 tbsp)
(1 tsp sugar for the yeast)
Self-raising flour (enough to allow your mixture to reach a doughy consistency - approx. 2kg)
FILLING:
Walnuts (1.2kg)
Ground cardamom (1 tsp)
Nutmeg (3.5 tbsp)
Cinnamon (3.5 tbsp)
Brown sugar (500g)
Butter (1 1/2 cup)
EGGWASH:
2 egg yolks
Saffron water (3 tbsp)
OPTIONAL:
Black seeds of your choice (eg black sesame seeds)
