This match has a lot of storied history and meaning in it.
These two have known each other 15 yrs or longer and havent wrestled since their backyard days.
What also made this match special was the intestinal fortitude shown this day. On the first lockup in this match....a freak occurrence. AleX Cross tore his ACL completely.
Then kept going because of everything going on and wanted to continue to end up having a great matchup.
This showed a lot of heart and dedication to even keep going and won over so many with much much respect
