Newport Beach, Calif., April 26, 2019: Dr. Ivar E. Roth, DPM/MPH and Ivana Belakova's combined efforts will result in the WORLD'S TATTOO to replace a lost toe nail by creating a realistic three-dimensional tattoo on the bed of a lost GREAT toe nail.


Dr. Ivar E. Roth, DPM/MPH is a Board Certified Foot and Ankle surgeon of the American Board of Foot and Ankle surgery and has practiced 34 years on the staff of Hoag Hospital in Newport Beach. Dr. Roth is the founder of Concierge Podiatry and Spa® which specializes in Medical nail restoration and beautification.

Dr. Roth has developed a method to dermabrade the nail bed resulting in a smooth and nice clean surface post procedure. After the nail bed area has been restored to a smooth surface that is free of any remaining nail or callous tissue he will work with International tattoo artist Ivana Belakova (Ivana Tattoo Art), who tattoo a nail in place of the former nail. In order to do this, the toe is anesthetized allowing Ivana Tattoo Art the ability to place a permanent tattoo. This is a two step process.Step one is to apply the tattoo and later on the tattoo is touched up and enhanced to become a new nail matching the nails left on the foot so as to appear that all nails are now present.
