For my cast iron weight lifting plates I need some set collars to secure them into place on the bar. Using steel tube with a one inch inner diameter I cut, drill and tap the collars and then trim down some 10-32 socket head cap screws.
This is the first time I have ever filmed an entire project by myself and edited it into a video, therefore I am considering it my first complete “project” video. Over the past few years I have been following a fellow maker by the name of Jimmy Diresta. I can’t begin to verbalize how is honest-bare bones video style and seemingly effortless making capabilities have influenced me. Listening to him, Bob Clagett and David Picciuto on the Podcast “Making it” has given me the courage to become a Content Creator myself. In an effort to learn as much as possible from Jimmy I have appropriated his video style to my own project and the result is this video – A Humble Tribute to Jimmy Diresta.
