Today, through this video, we are sharing how to prepare Gundruk ko Tarkari, a traditional dish loved by many Nepalis, along with the complete process of making Gundruk at home.

As part of our journey of showcasing authentic village flavors, homemade recipes, and various meat and local dishes, we have included both the method of making Gundruk and the way to cook it in today’s episode. We hope to bring you closer to the true taste of rural Nepali cuisine and our traditional cooking style.
In this video we used our self-made gundruk and potato vegetables grown in our own garden. Gundruk and potato are considered as special Nepalese food and it is probably only eaten in Nepal.
Earlier people used to eat greens by turning them into dried veg called gundruk because of lack of food.
