IIT-Madras Graduate Saketh Sreenivasaiah, 22, Missing Near Berkeley Hills Since February 9

The IIT-Madras graduate is currently pursuing a master's degree in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley.

The Consulate General of India in San Francisco expressed deep concern and confirmed it is working closely with Sreenivasaiah's family and local authorities to locate him. His roommate, Baneet Singh, posted an urgent appeal on LinkedIn seeking any information about his whereabouts.

Sreenivasaiah graduated with a BTech in Chemical Engineering from IIT-Madras in 2025. Authorities are requesting anyone with information to contact the police department immediately as the search continues in the Berkeley area.
