This is a follow-on video for our DIY universal battery charger video. The goal of this video is to provide additional explanation regarding the operations of this battery charger, as a response to some questions and feedback received from our friends and YouTube audience. The universal battery charger shown in this video can be used to recharge DIY ebike, electric bicycles, and electric scooters.
This is basically a DC Power Supply, and a Home Battery Charger, Using Constant Current Boost Converter.

The video addresses the following questions;
Is the universal battery charger considered a smart charger?
How does the Battery charger regulate charging voltage and current?
Is the charger capable of overcharge protection?
