KOTOR 2 Cut Content: Nihilus Originally KILLED Darth Sion

Описание: Did you know? It was originally intended that the player could choose an unseen dark path in KOTOR 2, where Darth Sion would be killed by Darth Nihilus in a confrontation aboard the Ravager. But how? & why didn't we see it?

Now many of you may have seen a version of this transpire on yotuube, the most popular version being the Enclave extended mod. Where after Kreia seemingly kills the exile on Dantooine, Sion confronts Nihilus to proclaim their partnership to be ended.


Nihilus then show Sion he is not to be trifled with then Sion limps away like a kicked mongrel pup.

However, this modded version although seemingly fits the narrative, warps the events where Sion was never intended to survive. So, what was meant to actually happen & why didn't it?


Well, In the cut-content of kotor 2 there is a segment in which all the party members believe you to be dead, except this is part of the genoharraden sidequest. The Genoharadan of course being the fan favourite dark side only league of assassins questline, first seen in the original KOTOR.

The Sequels Geneharraden questline was ultimately cut but its story beats where intended, as follows.

1. Before you hit Nar Shadaa there was supposed to be a cutscene of a sith assasin informing Sion that you are currently on the smugglers moon

Sion pledges to go there and kill you, and in so doing kill the last of the jedi

2. On your travels on Nar Shadaa you come across the Genoharraden headquarters, and you fight with their leader (it's much more complicated then stumbling across it but im simplifying) when you defeat Desicuss inside the Genoharadden base the entire base blows up.........this leaves your party member, and Sion who supposedly sees this thinking you are dead

3. Sion then travels to the Ravager to tell Nihilus that you have been killed on Nar Shadaa and that their alliance together is finished, Nihilus then proceeds to eviscerate the Lord of Pain.

Reportedly what was supposed to happen was Nihilus was supposed to kill Sion outright, and this was tied to the Atris as Kreia ending that was also not restored, so instead the scene has been modified so Sion limps away beaten. And that my friends is the story behind the craziest Sith face off since Traya trusted in her own fragile alliance, however just for good measure, here is the entire clip without Sion getting up.
