中央（東）線前面展望 小淵沢→青柳 ＜JR Cyuo Line cabview Kobuchizawa → Aoyagi＞

Описание: Cab view of the JR Chuo Line from Kobuchizawa Station in Yamanashi Prefecture to Aoyagi Station in Nagano Prefecture. This is a short journey of just over 17 km.
This was taken in May 2024. The scenery of the mountain village in spring is beautiful, but I hesitated to upload this footage because a small insect was stuck to the front window of the train. If you are concerned, I recommend that you stop watching immediately.

Kobuchizawa Station, the starting point of this trip, is about 160 km away from Shinjuku, and from here onwards it feels like a mountain country. The non-electrified Koumi Line branches off to the north.

Fujimi Station, where we stop along the way, is located at an altitude of 955 m, making it the highest station on the Chuo Line. It is the 10th highest in Japan. The place where we will be traveling this time is generally called a plateau, but with mountains looming on both sides of the tracks, the landscape looks like it is running at the bottom of a valley. Also, because it is a place where winter is cold, there are few rice paddies and fields. JR trains run at surprisingly high speeds in such scenery.
