How to cancel FIR | Procedure for cancelation of FIR

The process of cancelation of FIR is as
That the person against whom the FIR is lodged moved an application under rule 24 sub rule 7 of The police rules 1934, to the SP investigation of the concern district which he forward for investigation and inquiry to the investigation officer where the investigation officer collect the material in investigation and gives his finding regarding the cancelation of FIR and innocence of accused after that the investigation officer submitted his investigation to the District Public Prosecutor to obtain his opinion on said investigation and if the District Public Prosecutor gives his opinion and become agree with the investigation officer then the investigation officer put the said investigation and the opinion of Dpp to the SP investigation and if become agreed then he passed an order for cancelation of FIR then the Investigation officer put a challan for cancelation of FIR to the Learned Judicial Magistrate. If Magistrate agreed with the challan then he discharged the accused from the charge and FIR is canceled. Against the said order quashment petition is filed
