2 killed in Hamilton shooting after group of youth chase suspect into house

Описание: Hamilton police are investigating after an early morning shooting in Stoney Creek left two people dead on Wednesday, leaving residents of Candlewood Drive reeling.

Witness Daniel Lopez described the event, saying a group of around 10 youth chased after his neighbour — also a youth — who fled into a house. The group began banging on windows and apparently shot what he believed to be BB pellets at the house.

“Kid [the suspect] goes into the house, comes back out with the gun, you know, starts blasting, I guess and he ends up hitting two kids,” Lopez said.
