Farming your ultimate quickly in Overwatch is the best way to support your team into winning the fights and even the match.
While nano itself doesn't provide any advantage to Ana like the other support ultimates do for the heroes that cast them, it has a great value for the team since ultimate combos with nano or even nano as a pressure tool (so not combined with other ultimates, like you'll see in this video) are great at engaging into a fight.
Don't be too conservative with your Nano - while it's good to wait to combo it with your allies' ultimates, it's good if you use it without necessarily a combo, just to push off the enemy team.
