We're nearing the halfway points in Las Vegas after Round 4 of the National Finals Rodeo and the championship picture is starting to sharpen. Wacey Schalla continued his breakout bareback riding week with his first career Go-round win, climbing to No. 2 in the Projected Standings and strengthening his All-Around World Title push. Steer wrestling stayed razor tight as Tucker Allen and Will Lummus split the round, each keeping the pressure on the other in the World Title race. In saddle bronc, Stetson Wright won the round and surged up the standings, while Ryder Wright held onto the overall lead. Tie-down roping saw Shad Mayfield win again, edging ahead of Riley Webb after erasing a massive early deficit. Barrel racing flipped on its head with Tricia Aldridge’s 13.42-second run, and rookie Bryce Jensen earned his first NFR win in bull riding.
