I was sent this microphone by Organic Audio for testing just in time when I started to get far more interested in obtaining "found sounds" and using the natural quality of those for sound design and composition purposes. I've never had the privilege of trying out a hydrophone before, so imagine the pleasant surprise I felt by hearing sound coming from under the water for the very first time. in this episode I do a quick overview and take cjossul out on a field trip, capturing sounds of streams, creeks and waterfalls... then back to the studio where I try to process recorded sounds and find new and unique way of experiencing them all over again.
