I got this new specialty engine building tool recently and finally have the opportunity to use it. It is a Proform cam checking fixture and offers many uses, in this video I show you one of those uses. Now, there will a time and place when I use this to degree the Isky camshaft in my 311" small block Chevy, but I wanted show you how you can use this tool to measure cam lobe lift. After setting this tool up, quickly learning how to use it, I put it to the test. My opinion works like a champ and ease of use is a plus! Not to mention, the quality is great. I will be using this on the project 2 Hacks Garage has going on, stay tuned!
