Black Canyon Campground is located 16 miles from Santa Fe, New Mexico in the Santa Fe National Forest. It is open from May to mid-October for $10/night as of 2021. You can reserve 18 out of the 36 sites thru recreation.gov. There is no electricity available, and the water was shut off in 2020-2021, not sure if it will be turned back on. There is a dump station at the Hyde Memorial State Park just up the road for a small fee.
Wood can normally be purchased at the Smiths & Albertsons locations, and also at Home Depot & Lowes.
There are many trash containers available, so no reason to leave garbage in your fire pit!
All sites have a table, fire pit w/grill, lantern post, and tent pad, 7-36 have a paved parking pad.
