Taking a heart in braving life’s storms, 31-year old school registrar Aiza Narag penned her worship anthem titled “Sagwan”.

With its heart-tugging melody and poetic lyrics, the song sends a hope-filled message, saying that for when we are sailing out to the sea in heavy weather and feeling lost in the midst of storms of life, God is our only refuge, solace, and comfort.

Desiring to inspire more people to keep their faith in God, she wrote the song to inspire us all to keep sailing with God, our only safe haven from all our troubles.

For her, writing praise songs is one of the best ways to communicate with God. She believes that through this we can deeply express our sincerest thanks and gratitude to the Almighty for everything that He has done in our lives.

Louie Anne Culala from The Wishfuls is set to deliver her stirring rendition of the song.
