Tata Projects has achieved a major milestone by successfully launching the heaviest Open Web Girder on the Dedicated Freight Corridor at Kalamboli.
At 110 metres long and weighing 1,500 metric tonnes, this engineering feat sets a new benchmark in Indian railway infrastructure.
Executed at 04:30 AM on 12th May 2025 using the radial slew method—a first over Indian Railways—this complex operation was carried out over the high-traffic Rajdhani route within a tight 3.5-hour window.
