Main Menu - First Strike / Strike First! (Extended) - AW Days of Ruin / Dark Conflict

Описание: Carried over that vinyl scratching from Dual Strike! Pretty dang catchy tune, as expected from an AW menu. While I think DS has a lead over this theme, it's still nice to listen to. It's rather unique with its instrumentation in some ways. Like there's a bell like in other themes, as well as the aforementioned vinyl. But then there's other stuff that I don't really know how to identify. Like the first thing you hear when entering the menu, and other machine-like noises. It's fitting, as the menus pretty metal, with the menu ui, gray being the main color, and all the units in the background. We're essentially in a factory, and who knew one could sound so catchy? ...Meanwhile, in the Kalos Pokeball Factory.

When I think of some kind of mechanical or factory-like place, it's usually more of electronic and techy music. The above place and Mechonis Plains being examples. But this is a main menu where we've gotta get ready to go into the action and battle! This is Advance Wars, battling with armies, soldiers, and machines. Got that action vibe. But unlike 2 and DS, it doesn't have the more fun kinda attitude. It's also not like 1, where it's more of a strategy room, war, organized, but upbeat kind of mood. This feels in place with Days' soundtrack, being loud and bombastic. And it's without using the usual guitar and rock from the CO tracks.
