Описание: Our kitchen gets a long awaited DIY makeover! We have been wanting to paint our cabinets for a long time and finally found the time, money and energy to do it! We couldn't be more happy with the results, but man do our backs hurt!

This DIY project took a total of 12 days. That being said we did not work day and night on this, you know, cause life. LOL!
My husband did an amazing job on extending the crown molding we went to Home Depot and picked out one we liked along with 2x1 extender wood to bring it up a little more. The inset corner gave him some trouble, but hey, we're not professionals and learned a lot doing this project.
We taped off, cleaned, sanded and deglossed all the surfaces before hitting the first layer of primer. Sanded, cleaned and then one more coat of primer then cleaned with tack clothe again.
Paint time! One coat, two coat with sanding in between. When that was dry we flipped the doors over to do it all over again!
Time for topcoat! Only use foam brushes for this topcoat, I read it on their website so it must be true. ;) We mixed a little of our color in one can of topcoat and did two coats of the tinted topcoat then sanded and cleaned. One more coat of plain topcoat and let dry over night just to flip the doors and drawers over to do it all again! What a process! My back hurt a few coats ago!
Finally everything is dry and it's time to put our kitchen's new "jewelry" on! Soft close everything and the antique bronzed hardware look and work like a dream.
