“How do I explain to my partner why I want a non-monogamous relationship?
My reason is because I would like us both to build closer and stronger connections outside of our relationship, but he thinks that means there's something wrong with our current relationship.
He also feels like if I want to be with other people then that means he's not enough. I told him that's not true but I still can't explain why I want to be with other people as well as him (maybe this involves more self reflection, I'm not sure). It's all very confusing and I'm also scared of ruining my current relationship because I've brought this conversation up with him. There's a part of me that wants to take it all back and pretend it isn't true.
