This week we continue to show you one of the top 5 places we think you NEED to see in North America - BIG TREES! If you missed Part 1 from last week, be sure to check that out before watching this one:

After our incredible and unexpected sunrise at the top of Moro Rock and getting to have Tunnel Log all to ourselves, we headed to see General Sherman which is the biggest tree in the world by volume! The base of General Sherman is the same length as our RV! 😳 Really puts it into perspective!

We hiked Congress Trail to see the big trees in that grove and to walk through some of the amazing stands of big trees all clumped together, which is Lily’s favorite part. Our little detour onto another trail led us to an amazing surprise!

After a drive out to Kings Canyon National Park, we got our sign photo shot and headed back down the mountain where we could actually see everything in daylight!

We hiked 8 miles and were in the park for 10 hours and felt like we had truly experienced Sequoia, so we had a great night sleep and headed out!
