Disability, transit and other activists held a rally outside the 60 Centre Street courthouse on Thursday, August 1, 2019, calling on Gov. Cuomo, who controls the MTA, to make a legally binding commitment for full subway accessibility.
Organized by Brooklyn Center for Independence of the Disabled (BCID); Center for Independence of the Disabled New York (CIDNY); Disabled In Action of Metropolitan New York; Elevator Action Group Rise and Resist; The People's MTA and other groups and individual plaintiffs.
